Trip became General Manager and Director of Tennis at MTC in 2008. Trip came to Richmond in 1994 to serve as the Director of Tennis at the Westwood Club. In 1996, he was named Richmond Tennis Association Pro of the Year. In 1997, the USTA named the Westwood Club the Virginia District Club of the Year. Trip also worked as a tennis pro at the Van Der Meer Academy in Hilton Head, assisting owner Dennis Van Der Meer and served as Assistant Men’s Tennis Coach at Old Dominion University.

Stuart Bowden, USPTA

Stuart joined MTC as a tennis professional in 2009. USPTA certified, Stuart’s strengths are working with the top juniors as well as working with adults, beginner and intermediate players and leading the club’s popular cardio tennis program.
Stuart hails from Lowestoft, England, where he was a highly ranked junior player for the Portsmouth Tennis Academy and competed on the British junior circuit. He joined the Royal Navy from 2001-2005 and toured on the Royal Navy tennis team.
Stuart played tennis at Tyler Junior College in Texas, where he holds a degree in facility management and tennis coaching. Stuart is currently pursuing a degree in multi-disciplinary studies from the University of Texas at El Paso where he is scheduled to complete in May 2011. Before coming to MTC, Stuart worked as a pro at Atlantic Coast Athletic Club (ACAC) and Holly Tree County Club in Tyler, Texas.

Jenny Kile, PTR

Jenny teaches our junior QuickStart and beginner classes as well as several competitive adult clinics. She also serves as an assistant coach for the University of Richmond women’s tennis team. She previously worked as an assistant professional at ACAC for two years. While at Longwood University, Jenny played Division I tennis. She holds a degree in economics from Virginia Commonweatlh University.
