Now that the adrenaline has worn off, it’s time to look back at what a weekend (plus Thursday night) it was!Thursday night party at Salisbury Country Club! We went into Friday with 3 points!! The full show begins on Friday! We got off to a slow start with the 3.0 crew pulling in 5.0 points (should have been 7.0 as Jimmy Biringer and Allie Hannon put the hammer down in straight sets, but the bottom feeders at Dominion got them DQ’ed due to a clerical issue with our roster!), the 3.5 crew pulling in 7.0 points, the 4.0 crew in at 6.5 points, and the 4.5 crew in at 6.0 points. Of special note were:Jen Shaffer and Amanda Mayhew sending a message with a 6-1, 6-0 smack down of the ACAC team at 3.0 W1, Noelle Crews and Kate Laroche winning at 3.5 W2, Tracy Marks and Amy Vela winning at 3.5 MXD, Karen Budlong and Nancy Pitts winning at 4.0 W1, and Fahim Rahman (doubling up after his 4.0 M’s match) and Lindsey Hardage (doubling up after her 4.0 W’s match) both “playing up” and bringing home a win at 4.5 MXD. Fahim and Gianni Snidle — in their first TCC appearance ever — lost in a third set 10 point TB at 4.0 M2 to bring home 1.5 points!
