Important Message from the Board of Directors

October 5, 2023

Attention all Members,

As you are aware, MTC just like all businesses, families, and individuals has experienced a sharp increase in expenses. With a small decrease in membership, revenue from tournaments and teaching, as well as increases in many of our day-to-day operational expenses and capital expenses by 12 to 20 percent, it has been a challenging year! We want to keep creating a wonderful tennis experience for all of our valued members.

Special thanks to the management and staff for their hard work and of course our wonderful membership for your continued support.

What we have accomplished this year:

  • Fixed drainage around the outside of the club to prevent flooding into the main building
  • Repainted lobby and bathrooms
  • Resurfaced both indoor and outdoor clay courts
  • Lasered all clay courts outdoor for better drainage
  • Back up Water System installed for outdoor courts and working well

Our wish list for the future:

  • New insulation to walls and ceiling for indoor clay courts – this will provide us with a brighter, cleaner, more updated look as well as more efficient temperature control
  • Enhance outdoor shady and decking area for social gatherings
  • Resurface outdoor hard courts with Pickleball

As we move forward with many things to accomplish, we will continue with our assessment of $199 for Single Membership, $270 for Family Membership and $65 for Junior Membership.

Your assessment will be set up as an annual deduction on November 1, 2023, unless you email Denise (denise) no later than Friday October 20th, to have a semi-annual payment option (November 1st and May 1st) or if a special arrangement is needed.

We appreciate your valued membership and your support. If you or your family are having any financial hardship and need help, management will be happy to work with you.

Thank you for continued support!
